The game of crazy words and phrases!
In Mad Gab, teams race against the clock to “translate” groups of unrelated words into actual phrases before time runs out. There are clues on the cards, and the answers are hidden on the back.
It sounds familiar, but at the same time, not!
Can you decipher this one: "These if hill wore"? Keep repeating it and place the inflection on different sounds. Did you get it? It's "The Civil War"! How about this one: "Arrow loved oil it issue?" It's "a roll of toilet tissue!" Teams have two minutes to sound out three puzzles. And the faster you guess, the more you score!
- It's not what you SAY, it's what you HEAR! In Mad Gab, you’ll put your eyes and ears to the test as teams work to decipher funny word and picture puzzles into real phrases before time runs out.
- Repetition is key. Try this: "Shell Weed Ants." Repeat the words a few times aloud, and you're sure to guess that you're actually saying, "Shall we dance?"
- Get ready to laugh as friends speak the strange language of Mad Gab and say the answer without even knowing it!
- Teams have 30 seconds to sound out one puzzle. If it takes too long, players lose that round.
- For 4 or more players. Makes a great gift for ages 12 and older.
