Love & Saffron is my first five-star read of 2022! This was long overdue y'all. My last five-star read was over two months ago (The Knockout Queen by Rufi Thorpe).
Read this when you are in an the mood for an epistolary novel that chronicles the lives of two women in the early 60's. It combines two of my favorite things: recipes and romance!
Think 84 Charing Cross Road by Helene Hanif meets Save Me the Plums by Ruth Reichl.
Best paired with an Omelette glazed with butter, saffron and Herbes de Provence!
