Cassie Hanwell is a tenacious firefighter that “doesn’t do love” unless it’s in reference to her job. All that may change though, when she has to leave the firehouse she loves in Texas and move across the country to Boston to live with the mother she has barely spoken to in 10 years, and to work in a firehouse filled with men that don’t think women belong there.
Brilliant character development, girl power, love, bravery and forgiveness. You will fall in love with this funny, sweet, unputdownable book. This would also be a fantastic movie!
Thank you to St. Martin’s Press and NetGalley for allowing me to read an advance copy of this novel in exchange for my honest opinion. All opinions are my own.
