"And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer." - F. Scott Fitzgerald

Space Case (Moon Base Alpha) by Stuart Gibbs

May 31, 2019 (by Alex age 12)

Recently, I read the book Space Case by Stuart Gibbs. This is the first of three books in the Moon Base Alpha series. This book takes place in 2041 and is narrated by 12 year old Dash. Dash and his family along with some other scientists and their families live on the moon. But it's terrible. The food stinks, there is nothing to do, and you're trapped inside all day. But when a scientist dies on the moon, Dash knows something is suspicious. So with the help of his friends, Kira and Zan, he sets out to find the truth. I really liked this book. I recommend it to anyone who wants a good mystery. This summer, I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series, Spaced Out and Waste of Space.
