Summer Reading 2024

Summer Reading Assignment

We are excited to share our 2024 summer reading list. Reading selections are grade-specific, and reading one book from the options listed is expected and will be the basis of discussion and other assignments in the fall. While each grade level is offered a range of options, as with any list, parents know their child’s maturity level best and should assist them in their selections. Ultimately, our hope is that by reading from a range of contemporary authors, we encourage lifelong reading, and we look forward to our discussions and projects in the fall!

(*Please note, while AP students are most definitely encouraged to read from their class’s lists, AP 12 Literature students MUST read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte and AP 11 Language students MUST read Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson.)
