Fleishman is in Trouble by Taffy Brodesser-Akner was a book unlike any other that I’ve read.

To start, when you begin this book, the narrator is unknown. You’ll be reading about the life of Toby Fleishman, divorced dad, whose children were unexpectedly dropped off with him for an undetermined amount of time. But you won’t know who is telling you about him. Eventually you learn who the narrator is, and the book just gets better from there. This was a clever, well written book that made me laugh and cry and think deeply about life.
